College Advisory Committee
The College Advisory Committee (CAC) is a PTSA-sponsored committee comprising parent/guardian volunteers who support B-CC's College and Career Center and Counseling Department in assisting B-CC students and families with the college consideration and application process.
CAC hosts/co-hosts events throughout the year on various topics including information on finding a good college fit, SATs and ACTs, financing college, college essays, and more.

This is the biggest fundraiser of the school year and funds countless clubs and activities for B-CC High School students and teachers.
We can't make this event happen without a lot of volunteer support. We need help on the following days/times:

Used Book Sale Day Of Volunteers:
We will need General Volunteer, Cashiers and Talliers on .
Saturday, March 7 - 9:30am - 6pm for volunteers
(sale hours are 10am-5pm)
Sunday, March 8 - 9:30am-6pm for volunteers
(sale hours are 10am-3pm)
Volunteers
Meet at the volunteer table in front of the cafeteria.
Wear clothing appropriate for indoors and outdoors (drop-off day) and closed-toe shoes. Bring a water bottle. Snacks will be provided.
Ways to get involved:

Volunteer yourself! - join the UBS committee, sort books, help at the sale

Volunteer your kids! We offer SSL hours for all UBS activities

Shop the Book Sale! Sale days are March 6-7, 2027 - over 50,000 books!

Upcoming Events
BCC Tours for Prospective Families: Tours are offered from October to May once per month at 8am. To schedule a tour from the dates listed on the calendar below, please email Mary_B_Kane@mcpsmd.org
Please note that tours are not provided for Silver Creek or Westand families as there are other opportunities for those students and families to learn more about B-CC as their feeder school.
