Senior Celebrations

The Senior Celebration Committee coordinates events throughout the year including a newsletter, senior breakfast, yard signs, buses to graduation, and our biggest event After Prom! Check out our AfterProm page to learn more about this celebration!

BCC Cares

B-CC Cares is a PTSA initiative that strives to provide some additional support to BCC students and families in need. They run the school pantry as well as the winter holiday house. 

College Advisory 

The College Advisory Committee (CAC) comprises of parent/guardian volunteers who support B-CC's College and Career Center and Counseling Department in assisting B-CC students and families with the college consideration and application process, offering webinar, practice SATs and ACTs and other support.

Inclusive Learning

The Inclusive Learning Committee coordinates events for parents of students with IEPs and 504 plans and all parents and students who could benefit from educational accommodations.

Staff Appreciation

The Staff Appreciation Committee provides refreshments, luncheons, and holiday cheer for over 200 teachers and staff at B-CC. It's a fun and easy volunteer opportunity and a wonderful chance to meet the staff and other volunteer parents.

Students

Tours

Tours are lead by PTSA parent volunteers and include a tour of the building, information about the academic programs, social activities and time to ask questions.

Used Book Sale

Join us for the PTSA's biggest fundraiser of the year!  Volunteers needed to help with book drop offs, sorting, setting up, and staffing the annual event.  SSL hours available!

Volunteers

A program run by our volunteer chairs. Sign up to be on-call to help with small projects around the school for 1-2 hours at most. It could be helping with a sign up, a speaker event, or staff appreciation set up. The PTSA appreciates any time you can spare.

Peer Parents plan forums for parents to meet, share information, and learn from each other. Please contact them with suggestions for topics for coffees, or with questions that another parent may be able to answer.

Diversity Parents’ Council

The Diversity Parents’ Council provides a forum to offer assistance, guidance, and support to parents for their students, especially minority students, of Montgomery County Public Schools to pursue the highest quality education possible through encouragement, information sharing, positive motivation, critical evaluation, advocacy, and leadership skills.

Fundraising

Support the PTSA through memberships, donations to the PTSA or B-CC Cares, or shopping at the Used Book Sale. Look out too for restaurant nights. 

Health & Wellness 

The B-CC PTSA Health and Wellness Committee supports the school by helping sponsor Mental Health Awareness Week as well as puts on other events throughout the year.
